Recent reports have indicated the Italian giants were set to swoop for the Croatian playmaker, who has struggled to nail down a permanent place in the starting XI at the Bernabeu.

However the 27-year-old's representative was quick to quash the speculation and insists Modric is eager to remain in the Spanish capital.
"Luka will stay at Real Madrid. I don't think there is any chance that we can see him in a different shirt in the next few years," Mario Mamic told TuttoMercato Web.
"Would he say no to Inter to stay at Real? I think so. Even if Inter are a good side, Luka wants to stay at Real.
"Luka wants to only play for Real Madrid and there isn't the slightest chance that he will leave."
Modric joined Madrid from Tottenham in August 2012, he has made 47 appearances this season, scoring three goals.
