Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric has taken a swipe at Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo for his theatrics on the pitch.
Ronaldo was booked for diving during the Carling Cup final against Spurs on Sunday, although the Portugal international insists he did not cheat at Wembley.
Modric told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti : "He's an excellent player, but he really overdoes the theatrical bits.
"In England, where fairness is especially kept in mind and where a masculine, fair game is the law, such whining stands out even more. I don't know what good it will do him."
Meanwhile, midfielder Tom Huddlestone has revealed his frustration at losing his place in the Spurs team.
The 22-year-old was among the substitutes against United but did not get on.
"It has been very frustrating recently. If I get an opportunity, all I can do is remind the manager what I can do," he said.
"I have not really spoken to the manager that much. The only rumours I know are what I hear and what I read about, so it has been frustrating.
"Not playing is very difficult. I just have to force my way back into the team.
"It is a case of continuing to work hard, and trying not to let the situation affect me daily."
