FORMER Socceroos captain Craig Moore will face court in Dubai this weekend after he was arrested for an alleged drunken clash with police, according to reports.
It was reported that Moore has been in jail since Wednesday night (local time) following his arrest over an alcohol-related incident.
Moore is expected to be charged with drink driving and assaulting police and could face a heavy penalty under Dubai's strict laws.
The 34-year-old has made 52 appearances for Australia and was a member of the World Cup squad this year and in 2006.
Reports later on Friday said the former Socceroo had been bailed pending a court appearance.
