GOLD Coast United would love to secure Craig Moore's services next season with North Queensland Fury also anxious to speak to the former Brisbane Roar skipper.
Moore quit Roar yesterday and their Queensland rivals have wasted little time in expressing their admiration for the Socceroos defender.
Gold Coast United boss Miron Bleiberg and North Queensland Fury chairman Don Matheson have both made positive noises about pursuing Moore in the 24 hours since his Suncorp exit.
A move to Gold Coast (following the World Cup) would see Moore join a club on his doorstep and allow him to play alongside Charlie Miller once again.
Bleiberg told the Courier Mail: "I personally have a lot of respect for Craig, and because his standing with the Roar has now been sorted out, it's something we will discuss."
In the meantime, Moore is strongly tipped to play his football with Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone for the remainder of the season.
