Moore quit Roar last week after falling out with new coach Ange Postecoglou and giving the club an It's him or me ultimatum that backfired on the Socceroo veteran.

He had been strongly linked with a move to Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone alongside former Rangers teammates Derek McInnes who now coaches the Perth-based side.

But the hardman defender has now apparently opted for the Mediterranean and the move to join Kalac, as well as young Aussies Robert Stambolziev and Apostolos Giannou who are also at the club.

A club statement on their website said today: "FC Kavala announces the acquisition of Australia international defender Craig Moore for the next one-and-a-half years."
