Socceroo Aaron Mooy has won Huddersfield Town’s Player of the Month award for the third time this season.
Town confirmed the award on Wednesday evening (AEDT) with Mooy helping the club to four wins and two draws in December after a previous form dip.
The club website read: “Mooy was ever present for Huddersfield Town in December and was instrumental in helping the Club win four of its six matches over the busy Christmas period.”
Mooy had previously claimed Huddersfield’s Player of the Month gongs for August and September, having made a strong impact upon his arrival.
He was also nominated as one of four candidates for the Championship Player of the Month for August.
The 26-year-old midfielder was loaned to Town by Manchester City in early July after moving to the Sky Blues from Melbourne City a week earlier.
Huddersfield are currently fourth in the Championship and firmly in the mix for promotion.
