Socceroo Aaron Mooy has been nominated for this year's Asian International Player of the Year award.
Other nominees include Shinji Kagawa and Son Heung-Min.
Mooy was key to both Australia's qualification for the World Cup and Huddersfield's promotion to the Premier League last season.
Meanwhile, Australia coach Ange Postecoglou is among the nominees for Asian Coach of the Year, along with Japanese duo Ishii Masatada and Takafumi Hori.
Postecoglou is yet to confirm his coaching future after leading the Socceroos to Russia 2018.
Australia's Samantha Kerr has been nominated for the top AFC women’s award.
Fellow nominees include South Korea's Sung Hyang Sim and Japan's Kumagai Saki.
The AFC said it would reveal the winners on November 29.
