Town boss David Wagner said: “It’s a great story that ‘small’ Huddersfield Town has beaten Manchester United.
“It was deserved from my point of view. I think we performed very well and were very focused.
“We showed great concentration, aggression, togetherness, attitude, spirit, everything was there from the Terriers Identity.
“It’s great that we got a reward out of this game; three points out of this game.
“I know it’s only three points but every point for us is important and the moment of us beating Manchester United is a moment everyone will keep in their heads.”
