Aaron Mooy’s maiden home goal of the season for Huddersfield was not enough to earn his side victory in their shock 2-1 loss to Wigan on Monday night.
Town blew their opportunity to cement a spot in the top six against a Wigan side sitting third from bottom of the league.
With Town 1-0 down at the break, the Socceroo made the most of a Nakhi Wells' cross to find the net and score his first goal at John Smith's Stadium.

But Wigan hit back with Yanic Wildschut nabbing the visitors' second after Reece Burke gave them a first half lead.
Mooy was dominant throughout the final stages of the game as he peppered the visitors' box with crosses and shots to no avail.
Town sit equal sixth with Leeds ahead of their away clash to Blackburn on December 3.
