The Toffees face their Greek opponents at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow in their penultimate Group I encounter knowing a win would see them qualify should BATE Borisov fail to beat leaders Benfica.

Moyes, who has already rubbished media reports suggesting he may quit, re-affirmed his commitment to the Merseyside club as the focus returned to the boardroom in the wake of the club's latest financial results.

Turnover for the year ending May 31 2009 rose by £4m to a record £79.7m but, even with an FA Cup final appearance, a semi-final at Wembley and a fifth-placed league finish, the increase in player wages means that the club has an overall operating loss of £6.7m.

The results come in the wake of Everton's failure to gain permission from the Government for a new stadium at Kirkby.

"I've said all along that this is a great job, I really enjoy it and I intend to see it through until the very end," Moyes commented, responding after Everton owner Bill Kenwright re-affirmed his support for the manager.

"The Chairman has his role at the club and he is entitled to come out and say anything whenever he wants."

Everton come into the game on the back of a grim pair of outings against Benfica.

A 5-0 loss to the Portuguese side on Matchday Three was their heaviest away defeat in Europe while a 2-0 loss on November 5 was their biggest UEFA club competition home reverse.

Their domestic form has also been less than impressive, with Sunday's 2-0 defeat by Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby leaving the club lingering in 16th place with 15 points.

Moyes insists his players can turn their season round, but is not expecting a repeat of his team's 4-0 win over AEK on Matchday One.

"I never think any win is easy; I think you always have to work hard for it," said Moyes. "I think tomorrow will be a much more difficult game.

"AEK have showed good home form in Europe, particularly against Benfica when they won 1-0, so that shows that it will be a different game."

Moyes has been hit with further injuries with defender Joseph Yobo failing to make the trip to Athens due to a hamstring injury which forced him off during Sunday's derby. Leon Osman, who is nursing a foot injury, also misses out.

Midfielder Jack Rodwell made the trip but is a slight doubt with groin trouble while Lucas Neill and John Heitinga are both ineligible.

The good news for Moyes is that South African midfielder Steven Pienaar has vowed to play through his knee pain in an effort to return Everton to winning ways.

Tony Hibbert, meanwhile, is set to equal Everton's European appearance record which is jointly held by Colin Harvey and Brian Labone.

The Huyton-born right-back has turned out 18 times in European competition for the Blues and needs one more game to draw level.
