The Royals travel to Stamford Bridge tomorrow hoping for a repeat of last season's 2-2 draw.

Chelsea's aim is to make sure they stay within touching distance of Manchester United and Arsenal and it is Arsene Wenger's Gunners that Murty believes are the one truly entertaining side in the Barclays Premier League.

He said: "Arsenal are unique. There is no-one else in the world that plays their particular style.

"Chelsea offer you much more of an orthodox threat in set-up and build-up and have shown they can grind out results very well. They are not averse to a 1-0 win and doing just enough to get that.

"They are past masters of it like Manchester United have been. And a win is a win is a win. When it comes to the end of the season points are tallied up for the title.

"With Arsenal at any given time any four players could be beyond the front man with (Tomas) Rosicky and (Cesc) Fabregas all bombing on and every now and then (Gael) Clichy will go past (Emmanuel) Adebayor.

"At one stage when we were playing Arsenal this season the back four weren't marking anyone because they had all dropped deep. Then all of a sudden they all ran forward and it was like the Red Arrows.

"If you have not faced it you have no idea what it is like. Chelsea are more orthodox, Arsenal are more fluid."

Reading manager Steve Coppell elected to leave Stephen Hunt on the bench last season after the Irishman was involved in a collision with Petr Cech in the game at the Madejski Stadium in October that left the goalkeeper with a fractured skull.

Hunt will keep his place tomorrow however and the game also doubles as another chance for striker Dave Kitson to impress ahead of Fabio Capello's first England squad.

The former Cambridge United man has been tipped to be included and Murty was convinced he deserved such an accolade.

He said: "I noticed Mr Capello has been at some of our games and Dave has played very well so he will have impressed him.

"It would be fantastic for him because he has had a really good season. He is the top English goal-scorer in the Premiership and deserves a pat on the back for that, whether it is by recognition by England or just by being in the papers for doing so well it reflects well on him.

"I love saying he has a great touch for a big man because it winds him up. He is a big guy and is good in the air but he has great ability as well. You can fire the ball in to him and he will retain possession and, more often than not, come out with a good pass the other side of it as well.

"And he is a goal-scorer as well. England have a fantastic array of attacking talent but at the moment he is in form. He is scoring goals and playing well."

Meanwhile, Reading have moved to clarify the circumstances which led to them deciding not to sign Malta striker Udo Nwoko.

Nwoko reportedly claimed he had passed a medical after a deal was agreed with his Portuguese club Leixoes, before the move broke down over the Royals' desire to involve a third party agent.

But Reading director of football Nicky Hammond explained: "A member of our coaching staff - Wally Downes - saw Nwoko in an international fixture for Malta and thought he would be worth a further look.

"We contacted his club Leixoes and arranged for him to spend two days training with us in January on a trial basis.

"After that trial, we decided that we did not wish to pursue any interest in the player because he did not meet the required standard.

"We did not hold even preliminary discussions with Leixoes regarding a potential transfer and he did not undertake any medical examination."
