Adelaide United assistant coach, Filip Tapalović - one of two coaches sent to the stands in Round 11 - also copped a two match ban.
The United bench erupted in the dying stages of their 2-1 loss to the Newcastle after a controversial penalty was awarded.
Tapalovic was adjudged to have "committed the offence of use of offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures against a match official".
The MRP also considered three incidents from Saturday's match when Central Coast Mariners were reduced to nine men in their 2-0 loss to Western Sydney Wanderers.
Wout Brama, Jake McGing and the Mariners' strength and conditioning coach, Balder Berckmans - who was also red carded as the game descended into farce - all received the minimum one match sanction.
Mariners will have a depleted squad as they face a tough road trip to Adelaide to face the Reds on Boxing Day.
