Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat says he's devised a new game-plan as he strives to end Sydney FC's dominance against them in Saturday's semi-final.
The Sky Blues have won the past seven meetings against Victory and are unbeaten in their past eight encounters.
Given Sydney's dominance, it's hard to make a strong case for Victory to progress to the Grand Final, but Muscat said they were ready to change it up.
"We've been working away diligently devising a game plan," Muscat said.
"All our work and energy has been based on putting everything into a game plan to go across there into enemy territory and beat them.
"From our perspective, that's gone really well. Training has gone really well.
"The last two weeks is evidence of us getting stronger and stronger over a period of time and we go there with confidence."

Muscat wouldn't be drawn into the specifics of his new game plan when pressed.
"I don't think it's a good idea to discuss it now," the Victory coach said. "We've been working on things.
"We've got a game plan, we'll go across there, execute that game plan and the rest will take care of itself.
"The only thing from our perspective which is worth worrying about is a game plan."
