Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat says his side will go into Sunday’s Grand Final FC full of confidence despite Sydney FC’s dominant head-to-head record this season.
The Sky Blues won all three of the two clubs’ meetings this season, triumphing 2-1, 2-1 and 1-0.

“It’s going to be a difficult game for us,” Muscat told Fox Sports.
“Without looking too far forward, when you go back and watch those games and analyse them, there wasn’t much in all three games.
“We’ll go there certainly with a lot of confidence.”
Muscat added that he was delighted with Victory’s semi-final display in the 1-0 win over Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

The Victory coach said his side could easily have scored a few more goals.
“We were very good but sometimes when you’re on top for so long you want to get your rewards in terms of goals,” Muscat said.
“It took us a while, but no one took a backward step. We waited and kept pressing and creating chances.
“How it ended up 1-0 is beyond me, but it was a sweet victory for us.”
Muscat continued: “On another night, we broke them down three or four times, we could’ve got rewarded with a couple of goals from it.
“It wasn’t to be but overall it was a tremendous performance from start to finish.”
