STAR AIS striker Jason Naidovski has scored a hat-trick in his final appearance for the Canberra based side in their 4-0 rout of Fawkner Blues.
Naidovski is joining A-League club Newcastle and will be a massive omission from the side that has sat comfortably in the Foxtel Cup top six for the entire season.
He was at his damaging best against the struggling Blues, wreaking havoc around the box.
Naidovski is hopeful of earning a spot in the starting eleven for the Jets for the approaching A-League season.
The match at Canberra’s Bruce Reserve on Saturday was always going to be a difficult one for Fawkner.
AIS dominated possession early in the match and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when a long ball from Dane Mullen found Naidovski, who beat the keeper with his left boot.
The lead was doubled just before the half time interval, again thanks to Naidovski, and all at the venue new it was going to be hard work for the Blues to fight back from there.
Dane Milanovic was the other scorer for the AIS in the 74th minute, with Naidovski completing the hat-trick before the final whistle in the 88th minute.
