Shunsuke Nakamura believes he is playing the best football of his career at Celtic because of the stability manager Gordon Strachan brings to the club.
The Japan international was one of Strachan's first signings for the Hoops and has been a key figure in Celtic's back-to-back Bank of Scotland Premier League title campaigns.
The 28-year-old spent three seasons at Reggina before moving to Scotland, but insists he has gained more in a shorter time at Parkhead.
"At Reggina, we had a few different managers in three years and it wasn't easy," Nakamura, the new Scottish Professional Footballers' Association player of the year, told Celtic View.
"It's important to have consistency and Gordon Strachan has brought that to Celtic.
"He has helped me a lot and I have enjoyed working with him. He was a great player and I'm learning a lot under him."
