Portuguese attacker Nani is expected to be fit for their opening Euro 2012 encounter against Germany.
Coach Paulo Bento has received some positive news from the treatment table ahead of the June 9 clash, as the Manchester United speedster is set to appear in the Group B clash.
Nani picked up a foot injury in Portugal's 3-1 friendly loss against Turkey, and it was initially feared that the winger would face a spell on the sidelines.
However, team doctor Henrique Jones believes that the 25-year-old will be ready in time for the match against Germany.
"Nani had a traumatic situation in his (right) foot, the same foot that he had problems with at Manchester United during the season," Jones told Portugoal.net.
"But I think it’s nothing serious and I think he'll recover for the first match."
Portugal meet Denmark on June 13 in their second group game, before locking horns with Netherlands on June 17.
