Manchester City's David Silva has welcomed the arrival of Spain team-mate Jesus Navas at the Etihad Stadium for next season.
Navas agreed a deal to join the Premier League runners-up from Sevilla last week and is expected to complete the move when he returns from Confederations Cup duty with Spain at the end of June.
Silva, who is also involved in preparations for the tournament in Brazil, believes the winger would make a good addition to City's squad as they look to regain their domestic title and make an imprint on the UEFA Champions League after two failed seasons.
"Navas has now reached a mature age and he is a great player who will be very good for us," Silva said ahead of Spain's friendlies with Haiti and the Republic of Ireland.
"I am very happy to have him as a team-mate," he added.
Speaking in the week, Navas said he was "very happy" with his decision to move to City.
He continued: "We've been talking with Manchester City for four months. The Premier League is a competition where the football is very fast. I'm really looking forward to it. Manchester City are making a great team."
The 27-year-old failed to score in 36 La Liga appearances for Sevilla last term, although he did contribute six assists.
