Juventus and Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved will decide whether he wants to retire or continue playing football at the end of this season.
The 35-year-old told reporters for Sky Italia that he was as yet undecided on his future, but felt that his playing career was near its end.
"I don't know if I'll continue," he told press at a charity golf tournament organised by the Mauro-Vialli foundation.
"I'll definitely be dedicating myself to golf more than football next season because I'm coming to the end (of my career).
"I'll leave it a couple of weeks to decide. I feel like the time may have come to say 'enough is enough'."
The Czech Republic star retired from international football for a second time following the 2006 World Cup, but his country are hoping he will make another return to the international stage for Euro 2008.
However, Nedved seems unlikely to repeat his international comeback, saying: "Now I have to be clear with myself and weigh up whether it'll be possible to carry on."
