The reigning European and world champions struggled in Sunday's 1-0 international friendly win over China, but Negredo insists that things will be different in his side's first game at the UEFA showpiece.

"The first half was pretty ugly to watch because they (China) defended a lot," Negredo told reporters.

"They kept things tight at the back, and we misplaced a lot of passes. There's no need to worry, though.

"The match against China wasn't good, but things will be different against Italy. What happened here will benefit us and make us stronger."
