SOCCEROOS skipper Lucas Neill is set to join Australian colleague Tim Cahill at Everton today and is undergoing a medical at Goodison Park according to the British press.
The Mirror claimed earlier today that Goodison boss David Moyes had moved to land Neill following the injury to Phil Neville.
This evening, the Press Association was reporting that Neill was bound for Everton today for a medical with a view to completing a move.
The same organisation then stated the Socceroos captain was at the club's Finch Farm training complex and was expected to sign for the rest of this season and three more, having turned down offers from West Ham and Sunderland.
Neill was then expected to watch Everton's Europa League match.
However, there is no official comment from either camp at this stage with several previous 'moves' having come to nothing.
Neill has been linked with clubs all over the globe since leaving West Ham United at the end of last season.
