SOCCEROOS skipper Lucas Neill has finally found a new home after penning a one-year deal with English Premier League side Everton.
The Australia international was a free agent after his contract at Upton Park expired last summer.
The 31-year-old passed a medical at the club's Finch Farm training ground on Thursday.
He links up with Australian international colleague Tim Cahill and has been handed the number 23 shirt with the Toffees.
He is expected to go straight into the squad for this weekend's match against his former club Blackburn Rovers.
Neill's move ends a long-running drama after numerous rumours linking him with clubs across the globe.
Moyes said: "I'm pleased to have him. It gives us another player, especially with Phil Neville injured for another couple of months.
"It is very rare you can get a player after the window closes but fortunately he was out of contract and we were able to get him here."
