LUCAS Neill's footballing future has still to be confirmed amid conflicting reports over a potential switch for the Socceroos skipper to Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.
One British newspaper has claimed a deal is done on a two-year contract but as of this morning (Tuesday) the Spanish club had not announced any capture.
Neill is a free agent after leaving West Ham United and he has been linked with a number of clubs including Galatasaray, Manchester City and Sunderland.
The Socceroos skipper has also been linked with a move to a club in the Gulf.
