PETR Nemov scored twice to help Saturn Moscow claim an entertaining 3-2 victory over cross-city rivals Dinamo.
Nemov scored the game's opening goal after 38 minutes, but Saturn needed a further strike from Dmitri Kirichenko in injury time to maintain their advantage at the break after Kevin Kuranyi quickly levelled.
Nemov gave his side the comfort of a two-goal lead on the hour and it proved important as Dinamo pulled a goal back through Tomislav Dujmovic seven minutes from the end.
Amkar Perm won their relegation battle with Krylya Sovetov thanks to a 48th-minute goal from Andrei Topchu.
Stevica Ristic opened the scoring for Amkar after 15 minutes before Yevgeni Savin equalised in first-half injury time.
Rostov could only manage a goalless draw at Alania Vladikavkaz although it was enough to move them up to fourth.
