The SFL's disciplinary commission accused the Chechen-owned club of failing to submit documents and submitting a forged Bank of America certificate.

Neuchatel have already been deducted points for failing failing to pay employees' salaries and social security contributions.

A statement on SFL's official website read: "The Disciplinary Commission of the Swiss Football League (SFL) withdraws from NE Xamax with immediate effect the license to participate in the SFL's championships.

"In their decision, the Disciplinary Commission comes to the conclusion that through the non-submission of financial documents the conditions of the license are no longer satisfied. The commission also asserted that the alleged certificate from Bank of America was not issued by them.

"This therefore concerns serious violations of the club's membership obligations. The license is withdrawn from NE Xamax with immediate effect."

The club have five days to appeal the decision.
