GARY Neville is set to skipper Manchester United in their Community Shield duel with Portsmouth on Sunday.
Other than an appearance against Roma in the Champions League last term, Neville has been missing since breaking his ankle in March 2007.
Michael Carrick and Nani should also play but Cristiano Ronaldo is recovering from an ankle operation, Owen Hargreaves, Ben Foster, Louis Saha and Park Ji-sung (all knee) are out, Anderson is at the Olympic Games, while Wayne Rooney has only just returned to training after picking up a virus on tour in Nigeria.
