Western Sydney Wanderers defender Scott Neville wants the club to walk the walk after recording just one win from eight games in A-League season 2016/17.
The Wanderers play Central Coast Mariners for the second time this season away from home after recording a 1-1 draw at Spotless Stadium in round four.
Neville felt it was time to stay true to their word after accumulating four draws in the past five games.
“I think the last three or four weeks we’ve been saying we need to pick up three points and this is no different,” Neville said.
“This (game) really has to start our season and really get it rolling and last year when we went up there (Gosford) it felt like we were playing at home.
“That many fans travelled and I think they put the Mariners fans to shame, if we can do that again this week…
"When we play in these type of places like Newcastle and Central Coast it just shows how strong of a club we are and how good our fan base is and they’re the 12th man for us.
“We need to get the win for them, but also to start rocking up the table like we did last season.”

The Wanderers’ 1-1 draw to Brisbane Roar last week saw the Red and Black have 19 shots on goal with 11 hitting the target.
Neville believed last week’s game was indicative of progression.
“I think we’re progressing well, against Melbourne City we weren’t too good going forward… the last two games against City and Brisbane we’ve kept them relatively quiet going forward,” he said.
“They’ve got some good attacking players we kept quiet, that’s a big positive and we just have to continue to mould the two together and put away the chances we’re creating.
“I thought we dominated Brisbane from start to finish, I think it’s our best performance of the season so far - defensively and offensively.
“We still have to limit the mistakes and letting teams get slight chances because they had another chance where they could’ve punished us as well.”
Midfielder Nicolas Martinez says the team is starting to develop a better understanding collectively which will translate into results.
“I feel the team is performing much better, we all know each other, we are working in the week, not only physically, but with the ball,” Martinez said.
“It’s easier because we know each other, how we play, how our teammates play and with this philosophy of football I think in the next match we’re going to show it again and try to get the three points.”
