Western Sydney Wanderers captain Michael Beauchamp has signed a new deal until the end of the 2013/2014 A-League season.
Beauchamp is the latest player from Western Sydney to commit to a new deal, following the recent re-signing of Ante Covic and Mateo Poljak.
The 31-year-old said he was thrilled to re-sign with the Wanderers and that he was looking forward to helping the club grow.
"It really means a lot to me to get another opportunity to play under (coach) Tony Popovic and be part of the squad," Beauchamp said.
"It has been a great season so far and there is more to come.
"What is happening here at the Wanderers is something special and it is terrific to be part of it for next season.
"It is a credit to the club, coaching staff and the boys to get the results we have achieved and to get out and represent the west of Sydney like we have.
"We have something that does not come around very often. We came together very quickly and we have developed a winning mentality and that is driving everything at the club."
