ROMA defender Marco Cassetti has agreed a one-year contract extension with the Serie A club.
The 33-year-old full-back made 34 appearances in all competitions last season as Claudio Ranieri's side finished as runners-up to Inter Milan in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
Cassetti's new deal expires in June 2011.
"I'm happy and I thank the club for the opportunity to continue my relationship with Rome," said Cassetti.
"I'm sure we can continue the great results again next season and I hope to repay the confidence the club has shown towards me."
