SYDNEY FC boss Vitezslav Lavicka was today making good on his promise to conquer his fear of heights and scale Sydney Harbour Bridge after the Sky Blues finally notched an A-League win.
The Moore Park supremo admits he is no fan of heights but recently said he would make the climb once his team ended its losing run.
The 3-0 win in Perth brought a first three-point haul and Lavicka was expected to begin his climb around lunchtime.
He revealed his intention just under a fortnight ago, telling reporters: "I do not like heights. Not at all. But I will climb the Harbour Bridge and attempt to overcome my dislike of heights when we win our first match and I hope that is this weekend.
"I hear it takes a few hours. I will take my time getting to the top but I will be getting down fast. And that is as high as I will go. That is high enough."
