Ann has a wealth of football experience and was keen to do something to support the women's game in Australia.

"I started the website in about September last year just prior to season two of the W-League kicking off.  I have been involved in women's football in some capacity (playing, refereeing, coaching or writing) for the last 10 years in WA.  I was disappointed that there was very little news on the sport and there was no single area that you could go to get news on women's football in Australia."

The site covers women's football at all levels from amateur to state to W-League and the international level and Ann is also embracing the social media revolution with a Twitter feed @AusWomensGame.

"The initial months were focused on the W-League with round previews, match reports and interviews with the players, coaches and administrators.  We also included a guide to season 2 which you can see here. We have great support from Tom Sermanni and his coaching staff, the FFA and some of the local federations are steadily building up a following".

The site can be found at http://www.thewomensgame.com and The World Football Show broadcasts on Radio Fremantle between 9am and 12pm (WA time) every Saturday morning.
