The All Whites were originally scheduled to play the Indonesians in Jakarta on April 1 as part of a south-east Asian tour, but the game was called off due to Indonesia's concerns that it coincided with local elections.

They will now face the senior Thailand national squad in Bangkok on March 28 as originally planned, before playing the A side in the same city three days later.

New Zealand Football chief executive insisted the changes better suited his side as they aim to warm up for a busy campaign this year.

"Less time spent travelling means more time together and more time on the grass. With our players spread far and wide, making the most of these FIFA windows is absolutely crucial," he told nzfootball.com.

As Oceania champions, New Zealand are assured of a place in this year's Confederations Cup in June, where they will meet hosts South Africa, Iraq, and European champions Spain.
