Newcastle has claimed another scalp - this time at Coopers Stadium - as goals to Ben Kantarovksi and a red-hot Andrew Nabbout earned the Jets all three points against Adelaide United.
Adelaide started stronger and took the lead through Nikola Mileusnic, but similar to the performance of Ernie Merrick's men against the Wanderers, Newcastle worked their way back into the match and left the deserving victors.
Kantarovski was the unlikely source of the equaliser, volleying home a Dimitri Petratos cross, before Andrew Nabbout continued his rich vein of form, scoring the winner to keep Newcastle undefeated after six matches.
Adelaide remain inconsistent, especially in front of their home fans. Barely 8,000 people scraped into United's ground - normally one of the most diehard venues in the competition - to watch their side lose.
But it's a revelation for Merrick and the Jets to be first on the ladder after six rounds, and they once again proved that they have far more attacking prowess than just Roy O'Donovan - and he scores for fun.
Well, usually.
Roy O'Donovan has just submitted his contender for 'Miss of the Season'.

Given the demises so far this season of traditional powerhouses Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar - and the sudden resurgence of the Jets' neighbours along the F3 in Central Coast Mariners - the A-League could be looking at a shake-up this season.
Dimitri Petratos, for one, is "very happy" with the way this season's unfolding.
“We’ve had a great start to the season and we just have to keep it going," he said. "We’re very happy with how we’re going.”
There's a few surprised Jets' fans who feel the same way.
