Red lettering and numbers?! Newcastle have gone classic!
Newly promoted Premier League club Newcastle United have released their new PUMA home kit for the 2017-18 season.
The Magpies’ kit is a classic design, with red lettering and numbers, as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
United used a bunch of club legends to unveil the strip including Malcolm McDonald, Frank Clark, Bob Moncur and Peter Beardsley.
Newcastle managing director Lee Charnley said: “We have worked closely with PUMA to deliver a design that celebrates our history.
“The anniversary crest, simplicity of the design and the red numbers on the back of the shirt are just small touches that make it a special kit for a milestone season.”
The new kit will go on sale at nufcdirect.com from Thursday 15 June.
