Lionel Messi's newborn son Thiago has been made a member of Argentinean club Newell's Old Boys.
Thiago, born on November 2, joins the club where his famous father played as a youngster before moving to Barcelona in Spain.
Club officials will travel to Europe with the official documentation for their newest member, while a replica kit adorned with the child's name and the number 10 will also been passed on to the Argentina captain.
The Rosario-based club have also developed players such as Gabriel Batistuta and Gabriel Heinze.
