After months of unofficial leaks and fan speculation, Arsenal has finally unveiled their home kit for the 2019/20 Premier League season in a star-studded online launch video.

Images of rumoured Arsenal kits for the upcoming season have been leaked so often in the past month that when the official reveal of the strips rolled around, it was always unlikely that Gunners fans would be surprised by what they saw.

Sure enough, it turned out that the leaked images floating around the ‘net were genuine, and that the rumoured kits which fans had long been clamouring over were about to be made officially available for purchase.

The new red-bodied home strip, manufactured by adidas for the first time in almost 25 years, features white sleeves and a trimmed v-neck collar which has a bit of a retro-feel to it.

The sleeve cuffs also feature a similar red and blue trim, whilst Fly Emirates remains the primary front-of-shirt sponsor.

The accompanying kit-launch video is a beauty too, revelling in its own self-awareness with an abundance of North London slang and overbearing accents.

The teaser features an all-star lineup, including current players Mesut Özil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hector Bellerin (among several others), Arsenal legends Tony Adams and Ian Wright, YouTube star Jeremy Lynch (aka Jez, from F2Freestylers) and actor Idris Elba.

Quite in accordance with the intensely-leaked nature of the kit generally, the reveal video was posted to adidas’ YouTube account 3 days ahead of schedule, giving fans yet another early glimpse at the strip, which has received an overwhelmingly positive reception overall.
