Wanderers sit bottom of Group F after two matchdays, having scored one goal and conceded nine, ahead of Wednesday’s away clash with Korean outfit FC Seoul.

Western Sydney didn’t play in the A-League over the weekend with the split round, arriving in Korea on Monday.

“We’ve refreshed our minds and our bodies and we’re able to focus completely on Seoul,” Martinez said.

“After we can think about the league at home.

“We’re in the best physical condition I think—we’ve been working towards this for the last six months to be able to finish the season strong and healthy.

“We’re on the right path.”

The Argentine acknowledged the importance of the game, with both sides yet to register a point, well behind top two Urawa Reds and Shanghai SIPG with six points so far.

If Wanderers lose, they will face a near impossible task to qualify for the knockout stages.

“We know it’s a crucial game for us,” he said.

“It’s going to be very important and we know that Seoul are a very good team but we’ve come here to take the three points.

“It’s going to be difficult but we’re focused. We’ll fight to the last minute of the game to achieve the three points that we need.”

Kick-off for the Seoul-Wanderers clash is 9.30pm AEDT.
