South American footballing giants Brazil have unveiled their home and away kits for the 2019 Copa América competition, with each shirt paying tribute to past continental successes.

With Nike at the helm for this panini-sticker-style announcement of their latest batch of international jerseys, kit-enthusiasts certainly weren’t disappointed when the Seleção revealed they would be donning white away strips for the first time in since 1950.

A very welcome and visually-appealing change from the standard blue away shirt, the 2019 Copa América away kit, which serves to honour 100 years since Brazil first won the South American trophy, is predominantly white and is beautifully complimented by the blue v-collar, ‘Swoosh’ logo and sleeve trims.

Nike have played a more conservative hand when designing the home strip, which pays tribute to the 1989 Copa América-winning side, with the iconic yellow-body-green-trims combination culminating in what really is the quintessential Brazil home kit.

White socks remain an ever-present characteristic of the yellow home strip, whilst the white away jersey will be complimented by navy socks which feature a white horizontal band across the top, with both kits featuring the familiar blue shorts we’ve seen countless times over the years.
