Nike has officially unveiled the limited edition Mercurial Superfly 360 GS - a modernisation of Nike’s 2012 revolutionary boot.

Constructed entirely from renewable and recycled materials, the 2012 release was a revolutionary moment for Nike and represented the brand’s lightest boot at the time, weighing just 160g.

The volt and black remodel maintains the eco-friendly concept and will be one of the most limited releases in history, with only 2018 pairs made.

PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe has been teasing the GS (‘Greenspeed’) remakes on his Instagram story this past week.

The World Cup winner will be the exclusive face of Nike’s newest eco-friendly boot, whilst the original version was worn by a collection of Nike superstars - including Neymar Jr, Mario Gotze, Christian Eriksen, Raheem Sterling and Eden Hazard.

Nike have released two alternate colourways available through NikeID - including a safari theme reminiscent of the Mercurial CR Superfly II, and a Racer Blue design much like Nike’s latest ‘Always Forward’ release.
