Johnny Warren Medal winner Milos Ninkovic confirmed his interest in staying at Sydney FC after helping the Sky Blues do the double in Sunday’s epic Grand Final victory.
The 32-year-old Serbian star dispatched the winning penalty against Melbourne Victory to cap a dream individual and team season.
Speaking amid the Allianz Stadium celebrations, Ninkovic hinted at the likelihood of extending his contract.
“I like these guys too much and I would like to see this team in the (AFC) Champions League next year,” Ninkovic told Fox Sports.
“I like these guys, I like the fans, I like the club.
“I can’t promise you anything but probably I will stay.”
