Sydney FC playmaker Milos Ninkovic has won the Alex Tobin Medal with two rounds to go after a barnstorming season with the 2016/17 premiership winners.
Ninkovic has amassed 37 points and can't be caught by his nearest rivals, Perth Glory’s Diego Castro (30) and James Troisi (27) from Melbourne Victory.
The points tally was announced on Shootout, Sunday night.

The 32-year-old Serbian, who is involved in ongoing contract talks with Sydney FC, racked up 11 Man of the Match points and was pivotal in the Sky Blues record-breaking season.
Reportedly denied a lucrative Middle East move in pre-season, the former Red Star Belgrade player has flourished in Sydney's midfield.
The medal is awarded to a player based on a 3,2,1 vote after each A-League game – judged by an expert panel from Fox Sports.
At the end of Round 25 the top 10 in the medal count also includes Nicolas Martinez (WSW) on 24 points, Marco Rojas (Victory, 23), Andrew Nabbout (Jets, 22), Mitch Nichols (WSW, 18), Rhyan Grant (Sydney, 15), Neil Kilkenny (City, 15) and Bruno Fornaroli (14).
Congrats Ninko, Alex Tobin medal winner, can't dispute that at all, has been a cut above this season. The man is a GOD #SydneyIsSkyBlue
