Wellington Phoenix have signed Serbian midfielder Matija Ljujic, according to reports.
The 24-year-old was released by Lithuanian champions Zalgiris last month after 44 appearances and seven goals.
Ljujic is set to join fellow ex-Žalgiris player Andrija Kaludjerovic at the Kiwi club.
Phoenix are expected to officially announce the left-footer’s signing within days.

Ljujic is expected to arrive on January 3.
He debuted for Sebian club FK Teleoptik in 2010 and has gone on to make more than 160 professional appearances.
