BRISBANE Roar boss Ange Postecoglou picked out his players' response to adversity as the biggest plus from yesterday's 4-1 victory over Wellington Phoenix.
Two goals from Reinaldo and one apiece from Sergio Van Dijk and David Dodd earned Roar the points at Suncorp Stadium - an encounter which saw Tommy Oar excel once again.
Postecoglou said although Oar was outstanding, the whole team deserved credit for the win.
"I thought we were good across most areas, apart from the goal we conceded," he said.
On more than one occasion this season, Roar have struggled to recover from an opposition goal but Postecoglou was delighted with the way his team pushed on after Chris Greenacre had cancelled out Reinaldo's early effort.
"For me, the important thing (after conceding the goal) was the reaction of the players. It could've been easy for them to say 'here we go again' and drop their heads but to their credit they never did," he added.
"I thought the second half we pretty much dominated and could've had a couple more quite easily."
