Despite having the majority of chances and bossing the match for large periods, Melbourne Victory were lacking a certain potent striker in their 1-1 draw against Central Coast Mariners.
Besart Berisha grabbed the lead for Victory with a scything effort from the edge of the box, before missing a hatful of clear chances and handing momentum to the Mariners.

Nelly Yoa, the young Australian whose fame skyrocketed after falsely claiming to be on the verge of a “multi-million” dollar contract with Victory - when he wasn’t a professional footballer – could have possibly finished a few of Victory’s clear-cut chances.
He may have even drawn a bigger crowd at Kardinia Park.

Ultimately it was Blake Powell who took advantage, rescuing a point for Paul Okon’s side and ending seven hours without a goal for Central Coast in the process.
