IMPRESSIVE young Australian forward Nathan Burns appears to have shaken off a weekend injury scare and is ready to resume for Greek club AO Kerkyra.
The 21-year-old, who is enjoying an excellent loan spell at second tier Kerkyra from Greek giants AEK Athens, had to be replaced in last Sunday's 3-2 win over Diagoras Rodos.
The ex-Adelaide United man had scored one and set up another in a man of the match performance in the victory, before going off with a worrying injury on 57 minutes.
But according to reports on the club's official website, Burns has shrugged off any major problem and should be able to resume when Kerkyra travel to Agrotikos Asteras in Beta Ethniki this Sunday.
Burns has scored seven goals this campaign for Kerkyra, who are currently second in their bid for promotion to the Greek Super League.
