Notts County want Crawley Town manager Harry Kewell as their next head coach.
According to reports in the UK, Notts have approached Crawley about Kewell becoming their new manager.
The Magpies are on the hunt for a manager after Kevin Nolan departed on Sunday.
Notts, who finished fifth in League Two last season, have had a terrible start to the current campaign. They have lost four and drawn one of their first five games and are bottom of the table.
Kewell took over Crawley last year and took them to a 14th place finish.
This season the Reds have won two, lost two and drawn one of their five fixtures, and sit in 14th spot on the ladder.
Under the 39-year-old former Socceroo Crawley have won 18 of his 57 games in charge.
