The Australian was not named in APOEL's 26-man squad submitted for the UCL group stages.

Oar, 25, played four games for the Cypriots in the qualifying rounds for the tournamant.

However, after qualifying for the group stages, APOEL went looking for more depth in the transfer market.

Some new signings, including a few in the front third, put Oar futher down the pecking order at the club.

Brazilian winger Vander, Spanish goalkeeper Urko Pardo, and Cypriots Christoforou Kypros and Kostakis Artymatas were also left out of the UCL squad.
