EUROROOS WRAP: Socceroos teenager Tommy Oar made his Dutch Eredivisie debut overnight as FC Utrecht claimed their first win of the new season with a 3-1 victory over NAC Breda.
The 18-year-old Australian winger, who has made two brief appearances for Utrecht in the Europa League, was an 87th minute substitute for the Dutch club.
Fellow Australians Adam Sarota and Michael Zullo were not in the Utrecht matchday squad.
Elsewhere overnight, Neil Kilkenny played a full game as Leeds United won their first point of the new Championship season with a 1-1 draw at promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest.
In the Coppa Italia, Socceroos midfielder Carl Valeri was an unused substitute as Sassuolo defeated Monza 3-1, while Adelaide youngster Christian Esposito wasn't in the Novara squad which beat Taranto 3-1.
In Germany's DFB Pokal, Dario Vidosic wasn't in the FC Nurnberg squad as they cruised past Eintracht Trier 2-0.
In Romania's Liga I, Spase Dilevski put in a full shift in midfield as Universitatea Craiova drew 1-1 with FC Timisoara.
