The former Brisbane Roar winger topped off a brace from Mike van der Hoorn resulting in a vital 3-2 win over Excelsior in the Eredivisie.

Van der Hoorn gave the home side the lead on 22 minutes, before a free-kick from Samuel Scheimann levelled the score.

Excelsior grabbed the advantage 15 minutes into the second half when Roland Alberg netted, only for Van Der Hoorn to equalise for Utrecht with his second of the match.

Excelsior went down to 10 men when Nana Asare was sent packing following a second bookable offence, but just as the game looked headed for a draw, up popped Oar to strike home the winner.

The result gives Utrecht some breathing space away from the relegation zone, while Excelsior are stuck at the bottom of the table.
