Paul Okon wants his Central Coast players to "crank it up" as they seek to snap a three-game losing streak over the busy holiday period.
The Mariners suffered their third straight loss yesterday, going down 2-1 to Brisbane Roar in a close contest.
Next up is Melbourne Victory away from home and then both Melbourne City and Sydney FC in Gosford.
Central Coast face the two Melbourne sides in a three-day period between December 28 and New Year's Eve, before hosting the Sky Blues on January 8.
Okon said his squad will be up for the fixtures.
"Everybody's going to look forward to playing those games," he said.
"I think we have a nine or 10 day turnaround now until our next game after Christmas so its an opportunity for us to get some work into the players. Really crank it up because we've got two games in three days and then six days later we've got Sydney FC here.
"So tough games but again the players showed a lot of belief against a team in the Roar who are on a good patch now. They play some good football. We maybe could have got something at the death."
Brisbane took the lead through Dmitri Petratos before Roy O'Donovan squared it up. Jamie Maclaren grabbed the winner in the second half for the Roar to secure the three points.
Okon believes a draw would have been fair between the two sides, complimenting his team's effort.
"Maybe a draw would have been a fair result," he said.
"We are disappointed with the result. We kept going to the last minute, our effort was there. We had our moments but it wasn't to be. We gave away the ball a little bit too much when we weren't under pressure and allowed them to get out of dangerous situations.
"They're a very good team when they have the ball. We're a team that can keep the ball, we've shown that now."
